I'm not the type to feel indebted to a broker, but Mark and Quiet Light are the exception. When it came time to sell my ecommerce sites, I shopped around and determined Mark was the best in the business. He kept my expectations in line, and was not afraid to deliver bad news to me even before signing our agreement. In the end, he ended up bringing me five offers in one of the worst economies on record and the ultimate buyer was someone already on Quiet Light's mailing list. Throughout the entire transition, he was even-handed and fair and made sure that both buyer and seller were treated professionally. I would not hesitate to recommend Mark and Quiet Light to anyone considering buying or selling an Internet business.

Almost 2 years ago I listed my E-cards/AdWords web site for sale in a forum for professional web masters. I received several inquiries over time but only from people who seemed to want to ask 1,000 questions but not pay much money.

Last year I contacted Mark Daoust from Quiet Light Brokerage - through an ad in one of that same forum.s mailings. He was extremely honest about my site and took a lot of time to review it and make suggestions on changes that were needed to make my web site more salable. I followed all of his advice. I also used advice offered by the folks from Google to help maximize placement of the G ads on my site.

Having never dealt with people on line in this kind of business transaction I was MORE than extremely nervous (just plain scared) about giving away my domain name, hosting account, all my files, etc. before getting any money. I had nothing to worry about! (Mark kept assuring me of that, but to me he was a voice on the phone, not a person around the corner.)

If Mark does HALF as good a job for his other clients as he has done for me, (talking me through more nervous phone calls in 5 days than anyone should have to deal with, doing everything possible to expedite the closing of the transaction and transfer of funds, etc. ) there should be a lot of very happy former web site owners.
